EMPTY HIVES
Durham-area beekeeper Victor Bordin stands next to a stack of empty hives. He and his brother, who own Bordin Bees, have lost 35 percent of their hives in just the past year.
I think this picture is not very good because it doesn't explain the story. The story is about crazy bee hives and that is pretty exciting. The photo is boring. They tried to have a creative angle, but I don't think it really worked. It's all burnt out on the upper right corner. The guy has a horrible expression on his face and he's looking at the camera.
